Two coin lot.

  • Lot #702 - 1923-S PCGS MS-65
  • Hammer: $1,625
  • Silver Dollar-Peace
  • Atypical for 1923-S, both sides exhibit bold, energetic luster not usually seen, and all this over satin-laden texture that emphasizes visual appeal. Two broad apricot-gold crescents align with a broad, diagonal champagne band on the obverse while the reverse features a thin layer of fuzzy grey patina. A fair number of minute bagmarks stray over the eagle's wing.

  • Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $320
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
