Silver Dollar-Peace
Despite considerable almond-orange toning across both sides, this high-relief dollar exhibits unusually prosperous luster for a coin that didn't quite meet gem expectations at NGC. Some reed marks and other random surface tics deny upgrade, but most collectors will appreciate a rather prudent strike for the type.

Astute examination will reveal faded hints of a clashed die which required lapping, and that explains the plethora of die polish in the fields as well as the lightly mirrored effect. Astounding!
