  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • How low can you go? A dynamic combination of low serial numbers (A000007 – A000012) and a low Charter number (#31) adds intrigue to this uncut sheet of (6) 1929 Type 2 $10 Huntingdon, Pennsylvania National bank notes. PMG has accurately graded this particular run as Choice About UNC 58 and additionally noted exceptional paper quality (ck).

  • Scott Laiter Collection. The Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award seems fitting for a coin that may not be necessarily inexpensive, yet still can be easy to underestimate. In this particular instance, the cataloger cannot recall seeing another example that displays such an eye-catching amount of color compressed into such a tiny presentation, especially for a relatively mundane grade. Color runs the gamut of peach-green, sunset-yellow and lavender-orange mixed throughout. Further, quality seems at worst on-par with MS-64 as the surface reveals no singularly noticeable abrasions.

  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
