  • Lot #27 - China - (1966) Taiwan, China 2000 yuan - PCGS MS-65
  • World Coins-China
  • KM#Y544, L&M-1042. Taiwan. Struck to commemorate the eightieth birthday of Chiang Kai-shek, leader of the Republic of China for almost fifty years. Attractive and delightfully original, the chin shows evidence of faint pre-strike abrasions in the presence of lovely, satin-smooth luster.

  • Lot #543 - 1907 No Motto Saint Gaudens NGC MS-62
  • Hammer: $2,500
  • Gold $20-Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
  • Tougher in mint state than its 1908 no motto counterpart, the 1907 Saint Gaudens is known for its flat strike, a result of an overcorrection after the ultimately failed high relief experiment on the then new double eagle design. A stupendous medium-gold sheen glazes the obverse; both sides remain relatively unscathed from major incisions compared to other MS-62 twenty-dollar gold grades.
