Lot #652 - 1880/79-CC Reverse of 1878 PCGS MS-64 CAC
Silver Dollar-Morgan
VAM-4 properly designates that the reverse is in the style of 1878 with feathers running parallel to the arrow shaft. While not truly fully struck, this gleaming Arctic-white example features superior sharpness as well as a deft touch of cameo effect despite fully lustrous fields. The reverse may grade gem all by itself while delicate abrasions visit the cheek and obverse left field to help determine grade.

The only “issue” noticed with this particular sheet is that it was previously mounted in a display of some sort. Each note is a serial #1 making this a very appealing find (ck).
