Included are: 1899 (steamy patina over gorgeous golden hue and enjoying a fantastic strike), and 1932 (the usual very good strike complemented by confident luster, although a few tiny greenish verdigris dots must be noted). Ash-grey patina tends to subdue the luster on either side, a remnant of delicate circulation although the reverse seems slightly more energetic. One medium nick just below the ear joins a plethora of other much smaller, scattered abrasions. The reverse was struck off of a moderately failed die, a circular die crack connecting many of the peripheral letters.
