  • Lot #279 - 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof 1oz American Silver Eagle PCGS PR-70 First Strike w/ COA# 07561
  • Collector Lots-Modern Issues
  • Encapsulation of both the coin and original government COA show matching serial numbers. PCGS considers numismatic quality to reach perfection, and even the closest inspection can find no discernible reason to disagree. Remarkably, between them, the two major grading services suggest PR-70 to actually be substantially more common than coins graded "only" PR-69 or lower.

  • Lot #299 - 1852 "900" $50 U.S. Assay Office AU details in a Capital Plastics holder
  • Hammer: $30,000
  • Territorial Gold-Territorial Gold
  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-14 (R.5+). Cataloger's grade represents DETAILS ONLY: AU. The coin has never been removed from its current Capital Plastics holder and we respect the wishes of the consignor to leave it so. Through the plastic, this massive production appears to be generally free from edge nicks and corner dings that tend to plague the series. Further, a tremendous strike exceeds expectations as it reached peripheral lettering often missed by even high-grade mint-state examples. All four digits in the date stand out clearly, and the final "A" in CALIFORNIA is strong as are all the letters nearest the corners. The eight points are where the most metal flow must occur, hence details tend to be weakest there.

  • From France, this 18K yellow gold leopard brooch resembles a very popular design by Cartier. The textured finished modernist design displays a leaping leopard and is an absolutely beautiful design. Dimensions 1.75” x .75”, 2.8 dwt.
