Zee's Densities Collection. Impairments place a damper on this 3-dollar duo, but how often does one find an auction lot with two certified examples? Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Two coin lot.

Cataloger's grade: [AU/cleaned]. Only vaguely cleaned and as a result, either side shows myriad delicate, feathery hairlines. Despite the mint of origin, both sides display exceptional detailing and even hints of luster near the rims.

This beauty of a coin pendant has a $10 gold liberty, AU condition, surrounded by shallow cut square rubies with a rich red transparent color and a twisted cable border. There is a one part of the bezel that is slightly bent but it doesn’t make this one any less pretty! Dimensions 2.5” x 1.75”, 18.3 dwt.
