  • Gold $10-Capped Bust to Right Eagle
  • Bass-Dannreuther-2, die-state C/C, readily confirmed by observing a series of vertical lines in the cap. Overly bright from cleaning, the luster also remains impaired, flickering feebly only outside a few stars.

  • Collector Lots-Bars
  • Anyone who has ever delved into the “vintage” silver bullion market knows that Engelhard is the king of kings within that realm. Odd sized pieces have taken on a marketplace of its own over the past decade or so and this piece is one of the scarcest offerings! This is a second series unique 4oz. ingot with a top hallmark in an elongated octagon. There are fewer than 100 of these pieces believed to be in existence and this is a particularly nice example for the type. Serial #3150 (ck).

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
