Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
Mintage: 64,462. Curiously bright somehow despite 25 points of wear and the presence of utterly bold mustard-gold over lemony hues. While obviously moderately worn, this scarcer Charlotte issue almost never saw good strikes to begin with. Unlike some, all signs of circulation amount to honest wear and only minimal bagmarks, compared to many dinged survivors.

PCGS states "small partially removed stain", calling attention to a medium grey area at FEDERAL on the front. Regardless, the note nears the choice level with color that otherwise appears original and fairly attractive. Nice centering adds to the value of this much better thousand.

Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
