Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Clem Stevens Collection. A sensational proof type coin that deserves a "star" (it was likely certified before NGC ushered in the designation for superior eye-appeal), this Reconstruction Era gem earns the Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award. The obverse displays a phenomenally beautiful, fully circular pattern of rainbow toning that descends from the rim half way into the fields. The reverse survives with fully white mint brilliance. While the obverse also seems fully struck a hint of weakness shows on the reverse at upper left.
