Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Bucky The Badger Consignment. 30 graded PR-66 BN, 17 higher at PCGS. If "BN" were the designation for "Blue Neon" then it would more adequately describe the astonishing overlay of cobalt toning that emanates from 90% of the obverse, while 80% of the reverse emits wintergreen overtones. In either case, the glassy smooth surface appears almost completely free from abrasions. Extraordinary eye-appeal for the type.
