Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
Cheddars de Voirs Collection. A trio of quarter-eagles present nicely for the collector focused on this very difficult series. The first two examples are green label holders and include: 1873 "open 3" (dusky reddish-gold and extremely well struck but showing a couple of more noticeable abrasions) and 1873 "closed 3" (greyish overtone to the overall golden hue and also showing a very good strike). Accompanying is 1873-S (modest wear and interesting ruby-gold patina throughout). Three coin lot.

All four of these are nearly identical CS1214(1852) Burma Kyat Lettering Around Peacock silver strikes with two being NGC certified and two being raw examples.
