  • Lot #406 - 1854-D Large D PCGS XF-45
  • Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
  • As always for the date, blunt details govern the appearance for this familiar Dahlonega emission. Decent luster persists and better yet, the surface seems unusually free from the larger abrasions that typically affect gold from this southern mint.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
