Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Dino-Mite Collection. Effects of a relatively old cleaning have muted the luster somewhat yet this key dime remains reasonably attractive and would easily stand in for a nicer UNC collection. Of course, the cleaning does not affect strike quality, which was good enough to produce completely split and nearly fully rounded bands on the fasces.
