Two Cent Pieces-Two Cent Pieces
Cheddars de Voirs Collection. 32 graded PR-64 BN, 23 higher at PCGS. Needle sharp throughout, the shield displays meticulously straight, defined lines and the motto appears fully struck save a breath of softness at "WE". Delicately glowing brick red accents flame outward from the devices but there is no doubt at all that brown patina occupies the vast majority of the surface. There are no obvious grade-limiting detriments to suggest limiting the grade to PR-64.

For no reason other than scarcity, this mule would prove attractive to collectors since it is an especially bright, sharp example for the VF30 grade. Remarkably, the note also qualifies as an "error" at PMG due to a thin gutter fold at far right.
