The obverse warrants a full red designation all by itself while partial woodgrain toning on the reverse has acquired a fair degree of copper-brown coloration. Three thin, linear abrasions beneath "NT" are worthy of note only as grade limiters. Exquisitely struck and showing the kind of surface quality on the obverse that often pulls in a point higher grade.

Pristine fields teaming together with frosted white subjects makes each example within this seventeen-coin lot of Proof Franklin halves more than adequate for their assigned grade of PR-67! PCGS has certified all of these, but has done so at different times as evidenced by the different holders and labels throughout. Each year of issue from 1950 through 1963 is represented and primarily in old green holders. A few of the later issues appear to be Cameo examples but it was not designated on the label (ck).

Probably purchased in China during the 1960s, may we offer this absolutely stunning pendant fashioned from 18K yellow gold, diamonds and the most translucent green Jade. The three diamonds measure 2.5mm each for an approximate total weight of .18 cttw, SI clarity, I color. While most people know that the green color of a candy life saver is the best color of jade to own, the second most prized feature of a piece of jade is the translucency. This piece, although it looks like a moss green jade, if you get it near the light and under a loupe, it's more of an emerald green. And when I say this piece is translucent, I am NOT kidding. It is just so clear and so nicely carved that you know the artisan took great pride in creating the female deity you see here. While the piece is fashioned as a pendant, it also stands on its own and can be used as a small shrine. As to the deity this piece represents, I know not. It is what it is - just GORGEOUS! Dimensions 2” x 2.5”, 22 dwt.
