  • Lot #701 - 1893 PCGS MS-63
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Benjamin J. Collection. VAM-3, popular for both a doubled-die obverse and reverse. Nothing impairs the vivid luster of this obviously-choice example, although frosted areas receive some bag abrasions on the cheek and potentially slidemarks on the neck. A rather amazingly well-preserved reverse actually looks MS-66(!), elevating overall appeal of this well-liked semi-key date.

  • US Currency-Legal Tender Notes, Large
  • Front margins are rather balanced while the back modestly favors a broader top margin. Paper quality would look right at home on an AU example although of course, the usual light folds plop the note right into the extremely-fine range. Hands-down outstanding.
