Included are: 1899 (steamy patina over gorgeous golden hue and enjoying a fantastic strike), and 1932 (the usual very good strike complemented by confident luster, although a few tiny greenish verdigris dots must be noted). Cataloger's grade: [XF-40]. Sharpness actually reaches five points higher but a handful of slightly more noticeable blemishes land on the cheek and two brief but shiny pinscratches rest left of the eagle's portrait. The reverse was undoubtedly fully prooflike and the obverse semi-prooflike when struck, with modest circulation removing some overall luster.
