  • Lot #658 - Twenty 1881-S ANACS MS-64
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Nearly identical toning, surface quality, and consecutive serial numbers suggests that this twenty coin lot of ANACS certified 1881-S Morgan silver dollars was simply an original roll that was sent in as a lone submission. Each example was conservatively graded as MS-64 and resides in the older style “soap box” holder. This would be one of the coolest ways to own a roll of 1881-S Morgan dollars (ck)!

  • Where do we draw the line? This is a very attractive group lot of twelve NGC "no line" holder coins that includes the following eight MS-67 war-time Jefferson nickels: a 1942-S, a 1943-P, a 1943-S, a1944-P, a 1944-D, a 1944-S, a 1945-P, and a 1945-D. The final four pieces of this numismatic puzzle includes an 1882 MS-63 Morgan dollar, 1n 1897 MS-64 Morgan dollar, an 1945-D Walking Liberty half-dollar, and a 1937-S Buffalo nickel. While each of these appear to be very conservatively graded, the toning of the 1882 Morgan stands out from the crowd (ck).
