  • Lot #142 - Uncut Sheet of six 1929 $10 Type 2 - Huntingdon, PA Charter #31 - PMG AU-58 EPQ
  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • How low can you go? A dynamic combination of low serial numbers (A000007 – A000012) and a low Charter number (#31) adds intrigue to this uncut sheet of (6) 1929 Type 2 $10 Huntingdon, Pennsylvania National bank notes. PMG has accurately graded this particular run as Choice About UNC 58 and additionally noted exceptional paper quality (ck).

  • Lot #358 - 1849-C PCGS XF-40
  • Hammer: $3,000
  • Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
  • Mintage: 10,220. Overall reasonably appealing given the mint of origin, close perusal with a loupe reveals slightly glossy character and light wear above Liberty's brow, over the curls and on the highpoints of the eagle's wings. This example of the rare 1849-C sees some circulation abrasions at the lower portrait, while the reverse essentially avoids mentionable contact. The strike appears typically weak on the eagle's left (observed) leg and the feathers immediately surrounding the shield.

Excellent condition with a dark patina to the metal. 5.59 troy ounces.
