Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Newcomb-9, a somewhat common die-marriage that can show up in various interesting die-states. The NGC insert covers up a portion of the rim where a small cud eventually develops but it isn't readily apparent in this instance. The glossy ebony-brown surface is actually not as unattractive as is often implied by the MS-61 numeric grade level, and neither side displays much by way of contact.

There is a total of approximately 2.00 cttw in round cut diamonds, SI1 clarity, H-I color that accent the oval face. The band then continues with a filagree style design. Winds, sets and runs.
