Half Dollars-Liberty Seated
WB-103. PCGS did not recognize the "bisected date" which might have quickly led to realization that this half-dollar was struck under authority of the Confederacy after the New Orleans mint was seized at the beginning of the Civil War. Although graded only MS-61, both sides exhibit charmingly vibrant luster. Ref: A Register of Liberty Seated Half Dollar Varieties, Bill Bugert.

The main focal point of the bangle is an approximate .50 ct. round cut diamond, I1 clarity, I-J color and four approximate .03 ct. bezel set accent diamonds. Dimensions 2.75” x 2.5”, 10.4 dwt.
