101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Bucky The Badger Consignment. The upper two-thirds of the obverse and in aggregate, about four-fifths of the reverse are deeply imbued with highly attractive magenta-cobalt toning that shimmers in kind with lovely mint bloom. Except for these areas, a significant amount of mint orange defies NGC's "BN" designation. The strike appears to be perceptibly above average for the famed key Lincoln cent.
