Half Dollars-Capped Bust, Lettered Edge
Iam B. Kami Collection. 62 graded MS-65, 10 higher at PCGS. Overton-111, one of the most common die-marriages, and although Overton did not specifically call out die-states, the wavy crack underscoring the date makes it a cinch to attribute against all the other common varieties for the year. Delightful luster brightens up the appearance of this rose-gold, grey and Pacific-blue example, and the surface has managed to avoid nearly all signs of contact. A single nick on the throat and three tiny digs on the bust are all that need be accounted for in a complete description.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
