McCloskey 4-D, large date, second head. Noticeable luster illuminates the peripheral areas, surrounding what seems like generally original surface qualities. 19 graded MS-67, 1 graded MS-67+, zero higher at NGC. Borderline sensational, the obverse offers blatant semi-prooflike cameo appeal while the reverse sees only a hint of the same flashing energy. Astute examination will reveal faded hints of a clashed die which required lapping, and that explains the plethora of die polish in the fields as well as the lightly mirrored effect. Astounding!
