Cheddars de Voirs Collection. Glittering, pale golden surfaces comprise much of the character for 1914, both sides showing a decidedly weaker strike than usual. Accompanying is 1914-D featuring a better strike and stronger luster than its companion, helping justify the point-higher grade. Two coin lot.

Subtle yet nicely clashed dies are one hallmark of this "fancy 5" two-cent piece, another being the predominant reddish hue that could not have missed a full "RD" designation by much.
