  • Lot #833 - Barber dime Collection in a Dansco album
  • Hammer: $975
  • Dimes-Barber
  • 101st Airborne Collection. Whitman Blue Collection. 1894-S has the classic "RARE" cardboard insert and 1895-O is not present, but the balance of the set presents almost universally vintage, problem-free surfaces. 1898 could grade as high as AU, and stronger grade examples include 1900-O, 1901-O, 1902-O, 1906-O, 1907, and 1910-D. Incredibly, the consignor collected every single coin out of circulation and although he remembers finding at least two 1916-D Mercury dimes, 1895-O never showed up in his newspaper route money.

  • Lot #485 - 1912 PCGS MS-62
  • Hammer: $1,400
  • Gold $10-Indian Head Eagle
  • Glistening pale golden color overall. A lustrous strike would seemingly qualify this coin for a slightly higher grade but a few too many small nicks land on the portraits, especially for the reverse.
