  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • A sheet of six sensational $20 Huntingdon, Pennsylvania National bank notes remain uncut and unblemished in this eye-popping lot. Nice margins and wonderful color made this sheet a “shoe-in” for the Gem BCU 65 grade that has been given by PMG. The serial numbers range from A000007 to A000012, giving this particular sheet some added appeal (ck).

  • Lot #788 - 1916-D Mercury PCGS Good-6
  • Hammer: $1,100
  • Dimes-Mercury
  • Given the state of grading today, one must step up to at least Good-6 to have decent odds of full rims on both sides, and this ultra-original key dime very nearly delivers. The obverse rim without question offers complete encircling of the legends while the reverse rims bears isolated softness above AMER. The triangular interior of the mintmark instantly grants authenticity to this frequently-counterfeited key representative.

  • Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $320
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
