Half Dollars-Capped Bust, Lettered Edge
Bachelor Simon Collection. Overton-107, one of the easiest die-marriages to attribute as soon as one notices doubling on LIBERTY, and even more obvious, several parallel die lines extending left off the end of the bust and above the cap. As a remarkably bright and untoned example, the surface features pristine silvery brilliance save a very faint distribution of apricot toning over the central reverse. An engaging example with prodigious cartwheel energy.

One of the most elusive dates in the Morgan series, the 1895-S becomes virtually unobtainable in true gem state. Presented here is a modestly circulated specimen, with even wear clearing many of the heavy bag marks characteristic of uncirculated coins. One considerable cut remains right of arrows.
