Included are: BG-727 (astonishingly high grade and blatantly prooflike), BG-728 (drenched in curiously lackluster greenish hue and unusually well struck), and BG-872 (rather outstanding citrus-gold on the obverse and lemon-yellow on the reverse with semi-prooflike reflectivity). First is 1811/09 showing details that seem to reach the Fine grade level, although closer inspection finds a scrabble of light old pinscratches above the eagle's left (observed) wing. Accompanying is 1824/2, this example problem-free and infused with old time dark grey and pewter-tan toning. A pair of very popular overdates within this two coin lot.
