Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Wonderfully original and showing ideal olive-brown color with only slight thinning of patina on the details allowing sienna-orange to be seen. Wheat stalks display complete, uninterrupted lines and individually separated kernels. A delightful if somewhat low grade key cent.

There is a square double halo of round brilliant diamonds and a mix of round and baguette side diamonds weighing 1.18 cttw, SI1 clarity, G-H color. Ring size 6.75, 5.9 dwt.
