  • Lot #681 - 1889-CC WitterBrick CACG VF-25
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Bold but not especially sharp, especially at portions of the rim where dentilation blends due to wear. A thick, huge pile of greyish tan patina dominates the entire surface, relieved just slightly by pewter-tan accents on the highpoints.

  • Lot #386 - 1909 PCGS MS-65
  • Hammer: $4,800
  • Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
  • Much scarcer as a gem than 1908 or 1910 the 1909 does often get nicer production quality as exhibited by this superbly struck example. Consistently attractive and unblemished ultra-fine matte frost lays over the entire surface and valiantly attempts to emulate the inimitable appearance of a matte proof. A fabulous coin with everything going for it at the assigned grade.
