Quarter Dollars-Standing Liberty
A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Lot #495 - 1857-O PCGS AU details/scratch

Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
Breezy L Collection. Mintage: 30,000. While not a key to the New Orleans emissions, 1857-O represents a somewhat more difficult date and one often found problematic. PCGS calls out minor scratches on both sides, which would almost certainly be forgivable if they did appear surprisingly fresh, or if, for example, one or two off right of the portrait had not been imparted. A little glossy overall but by no means an unacceptable representative for a collector.
