Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Clem Stevens Collection. 67 graded MS-67 FS, 2 graded MS-67 FS "star", 11 higher at NGC. The low mintage of 1950-D (3-million) was recognized quickly by collectors who purchased and set aside full rolls of high-grade examples. That said, very few reach the upper stratosphere at NGC with enough strike quality to garner a "full steps" designation. On top of that, this is a flat-out centerfold quality coin showing incredible luster and pastel hues of apricot-yellow, chartreuse-violet, and magenta-rose. At most, a handful of minuscule abrasions might be found on either side.
