Cheddars de Voirs Collection. Glittering, pale golden surfaces comprise much of the character for 1914, both sides showing a decidedly weaker strike than usual. Morals And Liberty Collection. There was a time before the great State of Texas officially entered the United States and they simply called themselves the Government of Texas. As with all things Texas, they did it big including the issuing of their own currency that is now fondly sought after by Obsolete bank note collectors nationwide. Here lies a nice mixture of 16 notes that includes a $5, 3x $10’s, 7x $20’s, and 5x $50’s that have all been cut-canceled. Several examples are signed by the late Sam Houston making this run even more desirable than most (ck).

Probably purchased in China during the 1960s, may we offer this absolutely stunning pendant fashioned from 18K yellow gold, diamonds and the most translucent green Jade. The three diamonds measure 2.5mm each for an approximate total weight of .18 cttw, SI clarity, I color. While most people know that the green color of a candy life saver is the best color of jade to own, the second most prized feature of a piece of jade is the translucency. This piece, although it looks like a moss green jade, if you get it near the light and under a loupe, it's more of an emerald green. And when I say this piece is translucent, I am NOT kidding. It is just so clear and so nicely carved that you know the artisan took great pride in creating the female deity you see here. While the piece is fashioned as a pendant, it also stands on its own and can be used as a small shrine. As to the deity this piece represents, I know not. It is what it is - just GORGEOUS! Dimensions 2” x 2.5”, 22 dwt.
