  • Lot #803 - 1871-S PCGS AU details/cleaned
  • Quarter Dollars-Liberty Seated
  • Mintage: 30,900. Sharpness of AU-50 includes partially delineated stars, some showing enough wear as to subtract from internal segmentation. The coin must have been cleaned a long time ago because substantial and really attractive toning has taken over the revere, while the obverse displays significant coloration at the rims as well.

  • Growth Collection. Anyone who has attempted to complete a collection of early United States proof sets can attest to how difficult it is to accomplish. This only becomes increasingly more difficult when attempting to find unopened sets. Six such sets make this pristine group lot that includes the following years: a 1953, a 1954, a 1961, a 1962, a 1963, and a 1964. Who knows what gems may lie inside (ck)?

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
