  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • Uniform wear and natural surfaces are noticed throughout this complete collection of Walking Liberty half-dollars that are housed in two Whitman coin albums. The first album runs from 1916 through 1940 while the second album houses everything from 1941 through 1947. Grades range fairly tightly from Good to Extra Fine with the majority of the tenants grading somewhere in between. Included in this even keel collection are the following examples: a 1916 (GD), a 1916-D (VG), a 1916-S (GD+), a 1917-D Obverse (GD), a 1917-D Reverse (VG+), a 1917-S Obverse (VG), a 1917-S Reverse (F), a 1918-D (VG), a 1918-S (VG), a 1919 (GD), a 1919-D (VG), a 1919-S (VG), a 1920-S (VG), a 1921 (AG+), a 1921-D (VG+), a 1921-S (GD+), and a 1938-D (VF). Every example in the “short set” from 1941 through 1947 is filled with fresh examples ranging in grade from Very Fine to Extra Fine and could not be any more original (ck).
