  • As is typical for 1852-C, the obverse sports rather strong overall details while the reverse shows blunt softness off a well-worn die. Much nicer in appearance than a "cleaned" disclaimer would imply.

  • Clem Stevens Collection. While not perfectly centered the vast majority of design elements are nicely constrained to the somewhat smaller nickel planchet. Besides the obvious appeal of the error, this happens to be a superbly preserved example with razor-sharp central details that inevitably distend outward due to the lack of collar constraint.

  • I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
