The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
Breen-5491, Osburn-Cushing-3, blundered date obverse. A tiny remnant of a blundered digit shows immediately above "2" in the date, quickly denoting what is a rather common yet highly popular variety within the series. This happens to be a handsome example as well at just MS-62, exhibiting gorgeous luster and apricot-grey patina. The reverse all by itself might well grade MS-64 but random, trivial abrasions on the obverse spill over just enough to limit the grade.
