  • Lot #923 - 1914-D NGC AU-58 BN CAC
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Feeble luster places this key cent right on the cusp of mint-state, energized by subtle orange beneath mahogany-brown patina. An exceptional strike brought up individually sculpted curls for Lincoln's portrait. Of interest is a small rim break at the extreme right side of the reverse.

  • Lot #296 - 1851 "880" $50 RE Augustus Humbert PCGS XF details/altered surfaces
  • Hammer: $20,250
  • Territorial Gold-Territorial Gold
  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-5, 880 THOUS, no "50" on reverse. As boldly sharp as is a typical example with XF to AU details, most of the vertical lines of the shield are fully impressed end-to-end but the rock at the base has some merging of their borders. Random small chips and dings show on the edges and of course, intricacy of the machined reverse design only amplifies the presence of each tiny abrasion. Curious texture affects the surface, leading to the PCGS disclaimer.

  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
