Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Where do we draw the line? This is a very attractive group lot of twelve NGC "no line" holder coins that includes the following eight MS-67 war-time Jefferson nickels: a 1942-S, a 1943-P, a 1943-S, a1944-P, a 1944-D, a 1944-S, a 1945-P, and a 1945-D. The final four pieces of this numismatic puzzle includes an 1882 MS-63 Morgan dollar, 1n 1897 MS-64 Morgan dollar, an 1945-D Walking Liberty half-dollar, and a 1937-S Buffalo nickel. While each of these appear to be very conservatively graded, the toning of the 1882 Morgan stands out from the crowd (ck).
