PMG has wisely graded this sheet as Gum Uncirculated 65 EPQ. It is worth mentioning that the serial numbers range from A000007 through A000012 and that the Charter number is #31. Collectors of the series are not wont to underestimate the difficulty of locating a nice, very-good 1916-D dime with no problems. This example, slightly glossy on the obverse but showing rich dove-grey patina on the reverse, boasts strong, fully rims and portions of the vertical lines within the fasces. A very difficult example that clearly spent decades within an old Whitman (or similar) "thumb-buster" coin folder.
