Ther is a beautiful mixture of gorgeously toned and blast white examples that have all been assigned lofty grades that most would consider a bit too high based on current grading standards. Included in this eye catching group lot are the following issues: an 1879-O PCI MS-65, an 1880-O NTC MS-65, an 1880-S NTC MS-68, an 1881-O NTC MS-66, an 1882-O NTC MS-65, an 1883-O NTC MS-67, an 1884-O NTC MS-67, an 1885-O NTC MS-67, an 1887-O NTC MS-66, an 1888-O NTC MS-66, an 1889-O CRC MS-63, an 1891-O NTC MS-65, an 1898-O NTC MS-66, an 1899-O NTC MS-67, a 1900-O NTC MS-67, a 1901-O NTC MS-67, a 1902-O NTC MS-67, a 1904-O NTC MS-67, and a 1921 NTC MS-67. Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-5, 880 THOUS, no "50" on reverse. As boldly sharp as is a typical example with XF to AU details, most of the vertical lines of the shield are fully impressed end-to-end but the rock at the base has some merging of their borders. Random small chips and dings show on the edges and of course, intricacy of the machined reverse design only amplifies the presence of each tiny abrasion. Curious texture affects the surface, leading to the PCGS disclaimer.
