Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
Stone-white and nearly untoned, the obverse design and to lesser extent the reverse design both exhibit cameo tendencies. The coin was taken off of later dies as can be inferred by a shallow AW monogram, and while seemingly very slightly abraded, the fields display scarcely any of the expected hairlining.

K.R. Consignment. HB-50, EP-6, R.6. JOSEPH L BATES / FANCY GOODS / 129 WASHINGTON St / BOSTON. Cataloger's grade: [very-fine] at the bare minimum. Possibly choice due to lovely, even powdery brass patina, the eye-appeal is improved a little by the stamp being better centered than some; U.S. POSTAGE is mostly legible beneath the upper rim of the encasing. All Joseph Bates encased stamps are rare, the 1-cent pieces being the only reasonably collectable denomination. Quality of the original mica is quite outstanding for the type, showing a faint hairline scratch but minimum visual impediments otherwise.

Although this peice may not tell the time anymore, this spectacular vintage watch could definitely be worn as a bracelet! The petite piece features an approximate .50 ct. square emerald cut on either side, SI clarity, H color with another estimated 1.25 cttw in single cut and European cut round diamonds, SI clarity, H-I color. The diamonds are accompanied by royal blue synthetic French cut sapphires and what appear to be natural rectangular blue sapphires. There is a safety chain that runs from the watch to the clasp on either side. Length 6”, 16.7 dwt.
