Zee's Densities Collection. Impairments place a damper on this 3-dollar duo, but how often does one find an auction lot with two certified examples? Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Dino-Mite Collection. Trivially cleaned, it isn't clear why PCGS couldn't overlook very faint evidence of a wipe that left behind ample mint luster. In addition, either side has collected some nicer peripheral green and olive-yellow toning thanks to long-term album placement. A sharp and highly appealing type coin despite the PCGS disclaimer.
