Bright surfaces display more than a hint of semi-prooflike character, including some cameo contrast. Sharply double struck and featuring pronounced details on both sides.

Incredibly original as if just plucked out of its tissue-paper environment, both sides offer charming orange-grey and almond patina. The MS-64/65 fence for the Sesquicentennial is always dependent upon how many abrasions land on the cheek, and in this case, that marvelous patina helps to subdue a handful of tiny nicks. An absolutely marvelous example.
