  • Lot #564 - Morgan dollar date set in a Whitman 7171
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • What’s today’s date? Each year of issue of the widely collected Morgan silver dollar series is represented within this Dansco album “Date Set” collection along with four additional examples to represent each mint that produced this sought after series. Nearly every issue is an uncirculated specimen that offers various style of mild peripheral tones. Included in this eye catching run are the following examples: an 1878 7TF Rev of ’78 (MS-62), an 1886 (MS-64 PL), an 1891 (MS-63), an 1892-O (MS-63+), an 1893 (AU), an 1894-S (AU-58), an 1895-O (AU+), an 1897-S (BU), a 1903 (MS-64), and a 1904-O (MS-62 PL). Additionally, there are two more notable examples in the “Mint Marks” category that includes an 1884-CC (MS-62) and an 1882-S (MS-64++). A total of thirty-two issues fills this jaw dropping run (ck).

  • Lot #775 - 1915-D PCGS MS-62

  • Half Dollars-Barber
  • Bachelor Simon Collection. The reverse grades two points better and first-glance would suggest a higher overall grade evaluation given strong luster and pleasing silvery eye-appeal. Closer examination finds very faint abrading on the cheek, perhaps from roll friction.

  • Lot #386 - 1909 PCGS MS-65
  • Hammer: $4,800
  • Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
  • Much scarcer as a gem than 1908 or 1910 the 1909 does often get nicer production quality as exhibited by this superbly struck example. Consistently attractive and unblemished ultra-fine matte frost lays over the entire surface and valiantly attempts to emulate the inimitable appearance of a matte proof. A fabulous coin with everything going for it at the assigned grade.
