The necklace is completed with a fancy diamond and sapphire clasp that can be worn in the front or back and has a halo of old cut round diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 cttw, SI clarity, I color, around a round brilliant natural blue sapphire from Cambodia with no indications of heating but has been clarity enhanced measuring 7.00 x 7.10mm, GIA Report #6233639033.

President Franklin Roosevelt's gold confiscation order resulted directly in heavy melting of numerous gold double-eagles, with 1925-S an especially hard hit date within the series. Finer AU examples often stand in for UNC sets, which this choice AU example especially lustrous considering five points of wear. Medium golden hue has scarcely suffered at all at the hands of circulation as both sides, but especially the reverse, given an admirable impersonation of mint-state quality.
