  • Lot #529 - 1870 NGC AU-58
  • Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
  • 28 graded AU-58, 66 higher at NGC. As bright as an UNC coin, obverse fields yield dynamic luster while the reverse appears to possess essentially full cartwheel energy. A few minor rim nicks can be seen above Liberty's face but they do not intrude at all. Beautifully struck and a praiseworthy example.

  • Lot #552 - 1911-D PCGS MS-62
  • Hammer: $2,900
  • Gold $20-Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
  • Seemingly nicer at first glance, given energetic windmills and distinguished two-toned golden hues. The surface does not appear overly abraded, begging the question as to whether or not conservation could be followed by an upgrade.
